Wallboards

Wallboards turn your live call activity into a TV-friendly dashboard you can hang on the floor of a contact centre, an open-plan office, or any browser tab. Build them with drag-and-drop widgets, theme them light or dark, and share each board through a public link with an optional PIN and expiry, perfect for unauthenticated displays that should never expose the full dashboard.

Permission required

Custom live wallboards are an Enterprise capability and are gated behind dedicated permissions. Members need Wallboards · View to open boards, Wallboards · Create / Wallboards · Edit / Wallboards · Delete to manage them, and Wallboards · Share to generate or revoke public share links. Admins always have all of these by default. See Roles & Permissions.

Creating a Wallboard

Open the Wallboards page

From the sidebar, choose Wallboards. The list shows every board in your workspace, when each was last updated, and who can edit it.

Create a new board

Click New Wallboard, give it a name (e.g. Sales floor or Reception TV), and choose a starting theme: dark for screens that sit in dim rooms, light for bright lobbies.

Drag widgets onto the canvas

Use the widget palette on the left to drag tiles onto the grid. Resize from the edges and corners; tiles snap to the underlying grid so the layout always feels tidy. Drag tiles around to reposition them, and right-click for delete and duplicate options.

Configure each widget

Click any widget to open its inspector. Pick the metric, time window, sort order, colour scheme, and per-tile title. Data-driven widgets also have an agent picker so a panel can be scoped to specific agents; leave it empty to aggregate across all agents. Changes preview live on the canvas.

Save and preview

Click Save to persist your layout, then Preview to open the read-only viewer that fills the entire viewport, exactly what your TV will render.

Widgets

Wallboards ship with a curated widget set tuned for live contact-centre operations. Every widget auto-refreshes on a configurable interval and adapts cleanly to whatever size you give it.

Mix and match

A typical floor wallboard combines a row of KPI tiles at the top (today's totals), a wide Calls over time trend in the middle, and a Leaderboard plus Live calls beneath them. Drop a Headline banner across the top with a target or motto to keep the team focused.

Layout, Sizing & Theme

The canvas is a responsive grid; tiles are sized in grid cells (e.g. 6 × 4) and the viewer scales the whole grid to fit the display. This means a single wallboard works equally well on a 24″ office monitor, a 65″ lobby TV, or a vertical signage screen, with no per-display configuration needed.

  • Drag the edges of any tile to resize it; corners resize both axes at once. Sizes snap to the grid so neighbouring tiles always line up cleanly.
  • Drag the body of a tile to reposition it. Other tiles reflow around the new position automatically.
  • Theme: switch between dark and light from the editor toolbar. Every widget restyles its colours, gridlines, and background to match.
  • Refresh interval: set how often the board reloads its data (recommended 15–60 s for live floors).
  • Fullscreen: the viewer has a one-click fullscreen toggle that hides all browser chrome, ideal for kiosk-style displays.

Public Share Links

Every wallboard can be exposed through a signed, public URL, with no login required, so you can throw it onto a TV that isn't signed into Cloudax Connect. Open the board, click Share, and you get a single link plus three optional guards.

  • PIN: require a numeric PIN before the page renders. Useful when the URL might leak or for boards you only want a partner team to access.
  • Expiry: set a date after which the link automatically stops working. Handy for short-lived events or contractor access.
  • Revoke: kill the link at any time. The next request to that URL shows a friendly “link revoked” page rather than the data.

Treat share links like passwords

Public share links bypass org membership checks. Anyone with the URL (and PIN, if set) can view the board until you revoke it. Keep the link off public chat channels and rotate it if you suspect a leak. The Wallboards · Share permission controls who can mint or revoke these links.

White-label & Branding

When your workspace has white-label branding turned on, the wallboard viewer automatically picks up your brand name, logo, and primary colour; the share page header shows your branding, the headline tiles use your accent colour, and the favicon matches. Sub-partners with their own white-label settings win for their boards.

Operational Tips

  • Pin one board per team rather than building a sprawling super-board. Sales, support, and ops each see only what matters to them.
  • Avoid ticker fatigue: a single transcript ticker is often more useful than three. Keep the rest of the board for stable numbers and trends.
  • Mind the refresh rate. 15 s is great for live ops; 60 s is plenty for executive overviews and is gentler on bandwidth for many displays.
  • Pair with the Reports page: wallboards give you the live picture, Reports give you the periodic, comparative analysis. Use both.
