Partner Programme

The Cloudax Connect Partner Programme allows workspaces to resell the platform to their own clients and sub-partners, with full control over branding and management. Whether you're a managed service provider, telecoms reseller, or agency, the programme gives you the tools to build a recurring revenue stream around AI-powered communications.

Legacy and Current Partner Programmes

Cloudax has two partner provisioning models. Your programme determines how new client and sub-partner workspaces are created and billed; it is separate from whether the workspace is a Primary Partner or Sub-Partner.

Legacy Partners

Legacy Partners use the historical immediate-provisioning model. They can create a child workspace without purchasing a Cloudax plan during setup, choose who handles its billing, and use configurable buy and sell rates. Legacy status is retained for existing eligible partners only. Cloudax no longer onboards new partners onto the Legacy Partner programme, and Legacy access cannot be requested for a new partnership.

Current Reseller Partners

Current Reseller Partners must select and purchase a Launch or Growth plan for each new child workspace. Stripe confirms the subscription before the workspace is created. The main reseller organisation owns and pays each child subscription, with its reseller-level discount applied to the base plan.

Charges for a Current Reseller Partner's child—including usage, Cloudax numbers, credits, seats and add-ons—use the main reseller organisation's Stripe customer and saved payment method. Each child still has a separate subscription and is identified on invoices.

Access & permissions

The Partner Dashboard appears for partner workspaces and any workspace that has child workspaces beneath it. Creating new sub-organisations also requires the Create sub-organisations permission, which admins hold by default and can grant to other members. See Roles & Permissions. If you cannot see the Partners option in your sidebar, ask your workspace administrator.

Account Types

Cloudax Connect uses a single Workspace model with a self-referential hierarchy. Every workspace is assigned one of four account types that determines its position in the partner chain:

  • Cloudax Core: the top-level platform operator. This is Cloudax itself and is not assignable to partner workspaces.
  • Primary Partner: a direct partner of Cloudax. Primary Partners sit at the top tier of the reseller hierarchy and can create both Sub-Partners and End Clients beneath them.
  • Sub-Partner: a partner of a partner. Sub-Partners are added by a Primary Partner and can resell the platform to their own End Clients. They inherit their parent partner's branding by default, or can purchase their own White Label add-on through Stripe.
  • End Client: the final customer who uses the platform day-to-day. End Clients cannot add workspaces below them and do not have access to partner management features.

How the Hierarchy Works

The partner hierarchy follows a strict top-down structure. Each level can only manage workspaces directly below it:

  • Primary Partner
    • Sub-Partner
      • End Client
    • End Client

Primary Partners can add both Sub-Partners and End Clients directly. Sub-Partners can add End Clients beneath themselves, creating an additional tier. End Clients are always leaf nodes; they cannot create child workspaces. This structure ensures a clean chain of management, branding, and accountability from Cloudax down to the end user.

Partner Dashboard

The Partner Dashboard is accessible from the sidebar under Resources → Partners. It is organised into five tabs:

  • Overview: revenue analytics showing total minutes, cost, revenue, and profit across all child workspaces. Includes charts, breakdowns, and date-range filtering. See Revenue Analytics for details.
  • Sub-Partners & Clients: manage your child workspaces. Add new sub-partners or end clients, configure support and branding, and see your whole hierarchy (including clients nested beneath your sub-partners). Legacy Partners can also configure rates and billing responsibility; Current Reseller Partners purchase a plan for each child. See Managing Clients for a full walkthrough.
  • Deal registrations: reserve an opportunity for 21 days, prevent duplicate claims across partners, track outcomes and monitor monthly pipeline value. See Deal Registration for a full walkthrough.
  • Earn with Cloudax: share your workspace affiliate link, track referred workspaces and commission, and review your affiliate and reseller partner levels. See Affiliates & Partner Levels for details.
  • White-Label Branding: customise the platform appearance with your own brand name, colours, logo, favicon, and custom domain. See White-Label Branding for configuration options.

Getting Started as a Partner

Your account type and partner programme are set by the Cloudax team or your parent workspace. You cannot change them yourself. All newly approved reseller partners use the Current Reseller Partner programme; the Legacy programme is closed to new partners. Once your workspace is configured as a Primary Partner or Sub-Partner, the Partners option will appear in your sidebar under Resources.

From there, you can begin adding child workspaces using your assigned programme's billing flow and configure eligible partner features. We recommend reviewing the following pages to get up to speed:

  1. Affiliates & Partner Levels: earn commission from referred workspaces and understand partner level benefits.
  2. Managing Clients: learn how to add and configure sub-partners and end clients.
  3. Deal Registration: reserve and track partner sales opportunities.
  4. Pricing & Margins: understand how per-minute rates flow through the hierarchy.
  5. White-Label Branding: set up your custom branding.
  6. Revenue Analytics: track profitability across your partner network.
